Edo Govt Says Davido Is Welcome After Okpebholo’s Aide Declares Him Banned From Performing Over Okpebholo’s WAEC Result Post
Governor Monday Okpebholo’s aide, Apostle Kassy Chukwu, declared that Davido had been banned from performing in Edo State for the remainder of the governor’s administration.
However, the Edo State Government later denied that any such ban had been imposed and said the singer remains welcome in the state.
The dispute followed a political exchange between Davido and Okpebholo ahead of the Osun governorship election, after Davido shared an alleged WAEC result belonging to the governor'
