A 25 - year - old man , Awalu Usman, who
allegedly stole a wallet containing N 1 ,
500 , was on Wednesday arraigned
before an Upper Area Court in
Gwagwalada.
Usman of Angwan Dodo in
Gwagwalada is facing a two- count of
criminal trespass and theft .
The prosecutor , Mr Abdullahi Tanko
said the accused criminally trespassed
into the room of one Okoro Okoro and
stole his wallet containing N 1 , 500 .
He said that during police
investigation the wallet was found in
his possession.
The accused pleaded not guilty to the
charge.
The Judge , Alhaji Alhassan Kusherki ,
granted him bail in the sum of N200 ,
000 with a surety in like sum .
He adjourned the case till April 19 for
hearing .
